looking for name of type of mexican jewelry?
i was in the mall today, and there were pieces displayed of these pendants from mexico. they looked like dark blue and dark purple opals, don't know if that'd be synthetic or not. but near the center of these pieces, there was a rough texture, almost like fool's gold or raw amethyst...but black, and just very sparkly or glittery. does anyone know what this is called, so i can look it up online? thanks!
it is not geode crystal, though that is pretty much the same effect that was happening towards the middle of these pendants.
