Is $3800 for a .75 carat EGL certified solitaire engagement ring too expensive?
Specifics: Brilliant round cut, canadian diamond, EGL certified, VS, H color, platinum band with a .75 carat diamond.
Backround story: he went to buy a me an engagement ring when I told him I didn't need one. I'm already very happy with us getting married and buying a house. I just don't see spending that much money when we ARE getting married anyway. He keeps telling me I deserve one. Don't get me wrong it's beautiful and I really appreciate it, but I just think it's too expensive for a ring.
So, any diamond/engagement ring experts out there?
That's right on the ballpark. Diamonds that size retails not less than 2K, and platinum bands are what made it more expensive, platinum bands can go for at least 2K depending on size of course and setting, lowest price I saw is around 500$
