Have you ever imagined that you found an emerald that could change color - like green into blue?
And this emerald that you found was a special kind of emerald because it changes from green to blue at a certain date in the future.. and what if maybe God or evolution programmed it so that some of the emeralds change color on totally random dates in the future.. Lets call the special kinds of emeralds something like "grue" emeralds instead of green or blue emeralds
Let's say that date that was set for the special emerald that you found was Xmas day 2009!
That would be interesting. But then it made me think this:
How the heck will we know whether other emeralds we might find are "green" or "grue" emeralds? We can't base this on prior experience of emeralds being green, so what can we base this on?
