what gemstone looks good paired with a blue sapphire?
im trying to create a ring that i can wear on my right hand everyday. i really like the look of taking simple solitars and stacking them together to create unique combinations. i already purchased a simple bezel set blue sapphire solitar, because i love sapphire. what other gemstones might look nice pared to this? i know a diamond would but there so expensive
i was thinking maybe aqaumarine, moonstone, white sapphire, iolite, or chrom diopside?
anyone out there with impeciable taste have a suggestion?
White or blue topaz I think are beautiful, and tourmaline, choosing the lighter colors of the topaz and tourmaline. I also agree with moonstone, and aquamarine. I think it depends on how casual you want this ring to be. I'd choose less contrast in the colors for an everyday ring. The more contrast the more formal the ring feels.
