What was this blue and green gem/stone?
While in Hawaii I saw a braclet with flowers and the flowers had a blue and green stone on the inside (about half blue and half green). It was vibrant blue and green and reminded me of an opal, but seemed different, a deeper blue and a deeper green than i've normally seen in opals. It did change colors slightly (more blue than green & vice versa) as i moved around it and changed the angle of my view. What kind of stone was this? Was it an opal thats more rare than others or just a normal opal? Or something else? Thank you for any insight
Probably either malachite or azurite
