whats everything i need to know about breeding rabbits?
I have 2 rabbits, they both may be pregnant. most likly are. what should i feed them. how much. can i still pick them up and let them play on the grass. they are flemish giants. one is a light gray, mated with a cream color flemish. the other is an opal color she was breed with a blue flemish giant.
I would go to any pet shop or Tracker Supply and buy a bunny book so you can learn as much as you can about breeding and how much to feed them.
I did that before I went and started to breed. you need to keep your females dishes full every day they need as much food as you can give them. Also you can hold them till the 28 days are done. they won't want to be held a week before giving birth. So I would just say for the first 3 weeks yes. I would also give the female rabbits as much fruit and veggies as you can. they need enough food to get all the Vitim's they can get. Have fun and don't touch the babies after they are born till they have hair. They don't have to have there eyes open but they need there hair on them so the mother won't think they aren't hers. just like a baby bird.
