i have a couple questions about the quality of a ring?
its a its a simple band with 3, what i hope are diamonds, in the top. just wondering if you can tell me at least the quality of the band alone withthe stamps on the inside of the ring. there is one that says "14kp" one that says "exquisite" and another that appears toeither be two upside down u's or two 0's in an oval.
Usually 14 karat gold (58.8% gold) rings are simply stamped 14k. Its possible that "14kp" indicates that your ring is 14k gold plated, meaning the entire ring isn't actually gold, just dipped in 14k gold. Another possibility is that it's 14k gold with palladium alloy (58.8% gold, 42.2% palladium), which is actually a higher quality white gold mixture. However, 14k gold with palladium is typically marked 14k-pd.
Exquisite could be the company that manufactured the ring.
I'm sorry, I have no idea what the other symbols stand for.
You should visit a local jeweler to ask about the ring. Most jewelers also have diamond testing devices and will be able to tell you whether or not the diamonds are in fact genuine diamond.
