Are Sea Opals manufactured, natural occurring or are they a little bit of both?
I know sea opals aren't really an opal. I'm just curious as to how they occur.
It's a kind of seashell, more specifically an abalone which is a kind of gastropod (snail or snail -like mollusk) native to New Zealand
The seashell is iridescent, like mother-of-pearl and is often used in jewelry
