Where can I send my gems for money?

I have many types of gems such as Garnet and/or ruby. Emerald. Pyrite. A LOT of Amethyst. A little bit of moonstone some regualr quartz. And I have a couple different kinds of Topaz along with Aquamarine. I want to make a reasonable amount of money off of this. Is there a place that I can send this too and get it insepcted and make a profit off of it? Besides eBay... Thank you.
Firstly ~ go to a gem dealer and have them appraised.
The dealer may make an offer to you if they are interested ~ however, after knowing what they are actually worth you could then go to Ebay or Craig's List or just about anywhere to sell them.
It's likely you'd do best with dealers in the industry ~
