It is very nice that your friend is thinking about you as we all need good friends. The only effect of watermelon tourmaline can have is as a placebo and make you THINK it is doing something. The truth is that this new age, pseudoscience that gems and minerals have magic "vibrations" and energies that cure diseases is total rubbish. I have a PhD. in mineralogy, a MSc. in crystallography and I have spent over 40 years as a professional gemmologist surrounded by stones of every type you can dream of. If they had any power at all I should be like superman whereas the truth is that I am fat, going bald and need glasses to read anything at all. I am very sorry to hear about your complaint and wish you all the best but I think your real hope lies with the medical profession and not with the mumbo-jumbo of the woolly minded.
